Jeffrey Abrams is recruiting for a dynamic and savvy real estate private equity investment firm that is seeking a Director of Finance & Accounting to serve as the senior finance leader beneath the executive team. This is a highly visible, hands-on role with the opportunity to build the finance infrastructure for a rapidly expanding, multi-fund investment platform.

What You'll Lead

• Oversee treasury, fund finance, FP&A, accounting and financial reporting across multiple funds and investment entities.
• Manage and mentor the 3-person accounting team (not including offshore team) while strengthening internal controls and scalable processes.
• Lead treasury strategy, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, capital calls, and distributions.
• Partner with firm leadership on fund launches, capital planning, joint ventures, institutional partnerships, and investment analysis.
• Oversee audits, tax advisors, fund reporting, and investor financial information.
• Develop financial models and reporting that connect accounting results with investment performance metrics.
