Credit Analyst, Financial Analyst
Overview
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of our New York or San Francisco offices. The role is responsible for portfolio management, credit underwriting, and loan administration duties for Fintech Warehouse Facilities.
Responsibilities- Portfolio Management and Loan Administration – Support, monitor, and analyze client collateral credit performance for asset‑backed finance (ABF) transactions; process loan transactions (draw requests, pay downs, distribution of funds); prepare modeling and analysis for monthly and quarterly portfolio reviews; ensure timely receipt and accuracy of client financial, compliance, and collateral reporting; maintain accurate client information in internal systems; assist in preparation of internal reports and presentations for credit and senior management.
- Credit Structuring and Underwriting – Assist deal teams in underwriting processes for existing warehouse credit facilities; prepare credit memoranda and structured finance models; analyze client financial statements, collateral tapes, and related documents; perform collateral stratification; coordinate with credit, legal, and operations teams; support deal approval and structuring; evaluate risk factors and performance drivers for asset classes, venture debt, and structured finance vehicles.
- Client Relationship Management and Communication – Serve as point of contact for assigned clients; respond to inquiries and loan transaction requests; collaborate with relationship managers to support client meetings, presentations, and preparation of client‑facing materials; contribute to the development of client‑service enhancements.
- Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience in finance OR High School Diploma or GED and five years of experience in finance.
- Preferred area of study:
Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business. - Preferred area of experience:
Commercial Banking, Asset‑Backed Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Asset‑Backed Securities, Warehouse Lending, Corporate Finance.
For New York or San Francisco, the base pay for this position is generally between $ and $. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non‑discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
