Financial Analyst, Portfolio & Asset Management

The Investment Associate will support the Global Infrastructure & Real Assets Investment team by providing transaction support in deal execution (GP‑led secondaries, LP portfolio secondaries, co‑investments, and primary fund selection), asset management, and other ad‑hoc projects and initiatives to promote growth of the team and wider business.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate investment opportunities through financial modeling and due diligence.
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee on deal findings and other analyses.
- Assist with deal closing processes alongside the Investment Structuring Team and legal counsel.
- Represent team and build rapport with partners and counter parties by attending GP/company board meetings, industry events, and other ad‑hoc meetings.
- Monitor and assist in the management of existing portfolio companies and investments.
- Support client and fundraising requests and participate in client and fundraising meetings.
- Conduct market and sector research for use in pitchbooks, client materials or external publications.
- Prior knowledge and deal experience (2‑4 years) in infrastructure & real assets, private equity, investment banking, consulting, corporate development, or related roles.
- Strong financial modeling skills, ability to understand financial statements, interpret and calculate key financial metrics.
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative and handle a large amount of responsibility early on.
- Interest in working in a fast‑paced deal execution environment with the ability to perform well under pressure with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines.
- Self‑motivated and resourceful; able to multi‑task and focus on delivering results.
- Strong problem‑solving, influencing and relationship building skills – ability to build relationships internally and externally with General Partners, clients, brokers, consultants, and management teams.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel on a varying basis.
Expected base salary range: $120,000–$135,000.
Actual base salary is determined by a range of factors including individual experience, skills and qualifications. In addition to the above salary, Pantheon offers a generous employee benefits package and successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
