Major Duties
  • Ensure that portfolio materials are prepared for account review meetings with clients, retrieving reports from EDS, PIMS, IMS, and PAS systems.
  • Set up files with account documentation for existing or new clients (e.g., automatic payment, pledging securities, address changes, statement addresses, investment guidelines, fees).
  • Order reports for portfolio managers or clients as requested.
  • Communicate with clients and portfolio managers on client requests, ensuring follow‑up of portfolio manager responses.
  • Interact with partners administratively on a daily basis to receive and communicate information on all aspects of a client relationship or portfolio.
  • Work with the tax area to research discrepancies and oversee adjustments on client accounts regarding tax cost issues.
  • Respond to client inquiries for account information or to initiate transactions requested by the client, including re‑registering gift stock, remitting proceeds, selling gifts, and processing physical stock/bond certificates and DTC transfers.
  • Follow up with clients on inquiries via telephone or written correspondence.
  • Process client cash transfer requests, determine fund availability, and contact Investment Advisor if cash must be raised.
  • Process fund trades via CIT or all‑in‑one bank applications by established deadlines.
  • Review and analyze fee worksheets to ensure fees are calculated appropriately.
  • Adhere to National Investment Guidelines, feedback from the REV peer review process, and observe sound risk management practices.
  • Proactively make recommendations to support Investment Advisors.
  • Participate in client meetings and demonstrate mastery of the GDWM tool during client interactions.
  • Solve problems in straightforward situations and analyze possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Work within guidelines and policies.
  • Knowledge
    • Knowledge of investment products, services, and terminology, typically obtained through on‑the‑job training.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to meet meeting deadlines and solve client or administrative problems.
    • Coursework completion toward a CFA or CFP designation.
    • Expanded conceptual knowledge in own job discipline.
    • Understanding of key business drivers and the ability to use this understanding to accomplish work.
    • Ability to explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
    Experience
    • 1–3 years of experience within the financial services industry.
    • Provides informal guidance to new team members.
    Salary Range

    $85,330–145,130

    USD (base pay; a good faith estimate).
