Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) – a career entry point that combines training, client relationship building, and comprehensive financial advice at Bank of America.
Responsibilities- Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within the specified timelines (SIE within 30 days of hire; Series 7 and 66 within 120 days).
- Complete Academy-led courses and one‑on‑one coaching to develop advisory skills.
- Build, manage, and deepen relationships with banking customers, small business owners, and higher‑net‑worth clients.
- Conduct client reviews and presentations, providing comprehensive advice and recommending strategies to meet financial goals.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with the full suite of Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
- Follow SAFE Act registration requirements for any residential loan mortgage originations.
- Maintain professional license status and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required securities licenses.
- Self‑disciplined time and capacity management.
- Experience in cultivating client relationships and recommending solutions.
- Strong communication skills—oral and written—and ability to build peer relationships.
- Results‑driven mindset with the ability to prioritize client interests in a fast‑paced environment.
- Capacity to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to new technology or applications.
- Minimum of one year financial services industry or sales experience (desired).
Schedule:
Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. Shift: 1st shift (U.S.). Hours per week: 40.
All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal SAFE Act registry and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination.
