As Partner, AI & Growth Investments, you will play a critical leadership role in building and executing InvestX's AI investment strategy. You will independently source, evaluate, and lead investments across Series B through pre-IPO companies, leveraging deep relationships within the venture capital, growth equity, and private markets ecosystem.

As a full voting member of the Investment Committee, you will bring disciplined investment judgment, challenge assumptions, and help shape portfolio construction and investment decisions across the firm. This role extends beyond transaction execution—you will help strengthen InvestX's investment platform, expand our presence within the AI ecosystem, and contribute to the long-term growth of one of North America's leading private markets firms.

Investment Strategy & Origination

• Lead InvestX's AI and growth technology investment strategy, identifying emerging trends, sectors, and investment themes.
• Source proprietary investment opportunities across Series B through pre-IPO companies within artificial intelligence, physical AI, enterprise software, infrastructure, robotics, automation, and adjacent technology sectors.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with founders, venture capital firms, growth equity investors, investment banks, secondary market participants, and strategic partners.
• Represent InvestX within the broader venture and private markets ecosystem, expanding the firm's access to high-quality investment opportunities.

Investment Diligence & Execution

• Independently lead the end-to-end investment process, including sourcing, diligence, underwriting, negotiation, and execution.
• Conduct rigorous commercial, financial, operational, technical, and competitive diligence to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Develop sophisticated financial models, valuation analyses, downside scenarios, and return frameworks.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations with conviction to the Investment Committee.
• Lead negotiations relating to pricing, allocations, information rights, and transaction terms.

Investment Committee Leadership

• Serve as a full voting member of the Investment Committee, providing independent investment judgment and contributing to disciplined decision-making.
• Challenge assumptions, assess risks, and provide balanced perspectives to strengthen investment outcomes.
• Help shape portfolio construction, capital allocation, and long-term investment strategies across the firm.

Portfolio Management & Value Creation

• Monitor portfolio company performance against investment theses, identifying opportunities, risks, and value creation initiatives.
• Evaluate follow-on investment opportunities, liquidity events, valuation changes, and evolving market dynamics.
• Build trusted relationships with portfolio company leadership teams, investors, and strategic stakeholders to support long-term success where appropriate.

Firm Leadership & Platform Development

• Contribute to the continued growth and evolution of InvestX's investment platform, processes, and investment frameworks.
• Mentor and support junior investment professionals, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity, collaboration, and high performance.
• Represent InvestX in discussions with institutional investors, advisors, and wealth partners, providing thought leadership and investment credibility.

• 12–20 years of investment and/or operating experience.
• 7–10+ years investing in technology growth companies.
