highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked international law firm
seeking a
3rd to 6th year Finance Associate Attorney
to join its
San Francisco, California
office on an in office basis.
This is a transactional role focused on sophisticated secured financing matters for private equity sponsors, private companies, and borrowers. The work is fast paced and requires strong judgment, careful drafting, and the ability to manage multiple deal timelines with professionalism.
The firm offers a collaborative, team oriented environment with hands on partner support and direct client exposure. Attorneys are encouraged to take ownership of work streams while building long term experience across a broad finance platform.
The Opportunity
Work on complex secured transactions, with a particular emphasis on acquisition financings and refinancings. The role includes supporting deal execution from term sheet through closing, coordinating with internal specialists and opposing counsel, and maintaining strong communication with business teams and client stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a
3rd to 6th year Finance Associate Attorney
with:
- 3 to 6 years of finance experience at a top tier law firm, advising private equity sponsors, private companies, and borrowers on secured transactions
- Meaningful experience with acquisition financings and refinancings, including drafting and negotiation of key credit documents
- Active membership in the State Bar of California
- Strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trusted client relationships
- Clear oral and written communication skills and a practical, commercially focused approach to deal work

Compensation
