Financial Analyst
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis for a growing San Francisco organization. This hybrid contract role will work with accounting and business leaders to provide clear and actionable financial insights.
Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budget-to-actual analyses.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, headcount, and operational performance.
- Maintain financial models and departmental reporting schedules.
- Investigate financial variances and communicate key business drivers.
- Partner with department leaders to gather forecasting assumptions.
- Assist with annual budgeting and long-range planning activities.
- Develop dashboards and management presentations.
- Validate financial data across accounting and planning systems.
- Support scenario analysis and business-case development.
- Improve reporting processes through Excel, Power BI, or other tools.
