Analyst, Investment Operations (San Francisco Bay Area)

A leading institutional investment organization is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join its Investment Operations team. This role supports a globally diversified investment portfolio and is responsible for ensuring the accurate execution of securities transactions, cash movements, and investment operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with experience supporting public market investments, trade settlement, and cash management. Responsibilities
  • Execute and monitor domestic and international securities transactions across multiple asset classes.
  • Prepare and manage daily cash forecasts to support investment decision-making and asset allocation.
  • Coordinate internal cash transfers, investment funding, wire activity, and settlement processes.
  • Facilitate trade settlements, reconciliations, and resolution of transaction exceptions.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of investment and accounting data.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders regarding trade activity.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on operational initiatives, process improvements, and system enhancements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment operations, trade operations, fund operations, treasury, or securities settlements.
  • Experience supporting public market investments, including equities and fixed income.
  • Knowledge of investment operations, securities settlement, cash management, and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with derivatives and other complex financial instruments is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with financial reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence tools.
  • Bloomberg Terminal experience is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation

Base Salary: $95-120K, plus bonus and strong benefits

This role also offers a hybrid in-office work schedule.
