  • Lead the preparation of valuations, financial models, and sector‑specific business development materials,
  • Perform market, industry, and company research in support of new business generation (subsector trends, supply/demand dynamics, rent/price indices, capital markets conditions, investor positioning)
  • Organize and participate in marketing and client meetings, including management presentations, investor calls, and diligence sessions
  • Lead and participate in drafting sessions for transactions (marketing materials, diligence/Q&A preparation, internal committee materials, and transaction documentation support)
  • Conduct sector and company‑specific due diligence related to transactions, including review and synthesis of key real estate operating and portfolio metrics
  • Interact with corporate clients, private equity firms, real estate owners/operators, financial sponsors, institutional investors, and senior bankers
  • Assist in the development and cultivation of client relationships across real estate subsectors (e.g., REITs and real estate operating companies, real estate services, and real‑estate‑adjacent platforms)
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored, sector‑informed recommendations for clients (capital structure optimization, strategic alternatives, M&A positioning, capital allocation messaging)
  • Supervise and mentor junior bankers, setting execution standards and providing modeling/presentation guidance
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of investment banking experience (real estate coverage experience preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in presentations and to express complex financial strategies in an organized and articulate manner
  • Strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and a passion for excellence
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced transaction environment
