Aboutthe Role
Nscale is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Investor Relations to advance our investor narrative and build strong relationships with the Wall Street community at an important stage of growth.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations, you’ll be a senior member of the IR team and a close thought partner to the SVP. You’ll also partner with the CEO, CFO, and teams across Finance, Legal, Communications, Infrastructure, and Marketing to ensure consistent, accurate external messaging.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who can translate complex financial, strategic, and technical information into clear, credible investor communications. You’ll combine rigorous analysis with senior‑level investor dialogue, helping shape IR strategy while owning day‑to‑day execution across earnings preparation, investor meetings, Q&A development, presentations, and ongoing analyst engagement.
What you'll be doing- Partner closely with the SVP of Investor Relations on investor messaging, engagement strategy, market expectations, and public‑company readiness.
- Articulate Nscale’s investment thesis to Wall Street stakeholders, connecting our technology, market opportunity, competitive positioning, business model, and long‑term value creation potential.
- Develop investor presentations, management talking points, Q&A materials, financial narratives, and other investor‑facing communications.
- Support earnings preparation and broader investor communications activity.
- Build trusted relationships with institutional investors, sell‑side analysts, and other members of the capital markets community.
- Participate in and, as appropriate, independently manage investor meetings, conferences, investor education, and other external engagement.
- Prepare the SVP, CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders for investor interactions, including key messages, anticipated questions, and investor context.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with investors and analysts.
- Build and maintain financial, valuation, peer, and competitive analyses to inform investor positioning and management decision‑making.
- Assess how public‑market investors are likely to evaluate the business, including its growth, margins, capital intensity, KPIs, valuation, and key risks.
- Translate detailed financial and technical analysis into a clear, well‑informed view of the company’s investment case.
- Bring a sophisticated public‑markets perspective to internal discussions, helping leadership understand how investors and analysts are likely to evaluate the company and its strategic decisions.
- Synthesize investor and analyst feedback and provide actionable insights to the SVP and senior leadership.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Legal, Communications, Infrastructure, Marketing, and other teams to ensure consistent and accurate external messaging.
- Assist in preparing board updates on IR strategy and progress.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience across investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, or related capital markets roles.
- Significant in‑house investor relations experience, alongside prior Wall Street or public‑markets experience, ideally in equity research or investment banking.
