In this role, the Financial Analyst will report directly to the Regional Finance Manager and play a key role in supporting finance functions across the West Region. This is a highly collaborative position that partners closely with the regional finance team, operations, and back-office functions to support the monthly close cycle, financial reporting, and ongoing analysis of regional results. The successful candidate is detail-oriented and analytical, comfortable working with large volumes of data, and eager to build broad exposure across corporate finance and accounting in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Duties

Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Assist in the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation, working closely with the finance team to meet established deadlines.
  • Review and analyze general ledger activity, researching variances and reconciling items and preparing adjusting entries as needed to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial results.
  • Compile and maintain supporting schedules and financial tracking tools, ensuring underlying data and documentation are complete, current, and audit-ready.
  • Perform recurring analysis of key cost drivers and operating metrics, identifying trends, variances, and outliers and escalating items that warrant further review.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reporting packages, and participate in financial review meetings with operations to help research and resolve open items.
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for finance-related inquiries from the field, coordinating follow-up and driving items to timely resolution, particularly during the close cycle.
  • Collaborate with the finance team, operations, and back-office functions to gather information, clarify discrepancies, and support accurate and timely reporting across the region.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting tools, and documentation standards, bringing forward suggestions to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses, reporting, and special projects in support of the Regional Finance Manager and broader finance team as required.
