Senior Analyst or Associate, M&A​/Investment Banking

We are partnering with a premier technology investment banking practice in San Francisco looking to add an experienced Senior Analyst or Associate to their execution platform.

The group acts as a core strategic and financial advisor to top-tier venture capital firms, growth equity funds, and high-growth VC-backed software platforms
, advising on market-defining sell-side and buy-side M&A, growth equity raises, and strategic recapitalizations.

• Direct VC & Founder Exposure: Work closely alongside Partners at leading venture firms and software CEOs across transaction life cycles—from early positioning to exit execution.
• Coverage: Deep focus on critical software verticals:
  Infrastructure, Cyber-security and GRC.
• Lean Deal Staffing: Drive execution from day one working in a tight knit bullpen.

• Must have direct Investment Banking experience:
• Senior Analyst: 2+ years of full-time Investment Banking Analyst experience (Technology coverage or M&A product group preferred).
• Associate: 3–5 years of full-time Investment Banking experience (tenured Analyst promote or experienced IB Associate).
• Demonstrated experience with software/subscription metrics and transaction execution; prior familiarity with venture-backed cap tables and cybersecurity/infrastructure software dynamics is highly preferred.
• Flawless financial modeling, valuation, and presentation preparation skills.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills suited for direct board-level and sponsor-level interaction.
