Private Equity Associate - Healthcare

A leading healthcare-focused private equity firm is looking to add an Associate to its investment team in San Francisco. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing investment banking professional looking to transition to the buy side and gain meaningful exposure to healthcare investing.

• 2+ years of healthcare investment banking experience
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power Point
• LBO experience preferred
• High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong academic background and demonstrated interest in healthcare

• Evaluate and underwrite new healthcare investment opportunities
• Build and analyze financial, valuation, and LBO models
• Conduct market, industry, and company research
• Support due diligence and transaction execution from start to finish
• Prepare investment committee presentations and materials
• Monitor portfolio company performance and assist with strategic initiatives
• Work closely with senior investment professionals, management teams, and external advisors
