The firm is a San Francisco based private equity firm that has raised over $1.4 billion million and focuses exclusively on the consumer products sector, both with branded consumer and manufacturing businesses. Founded in 2005, the professionals help management teams successfully grow their businesses by providing capital, operating advice, strategic planning, acquisitions expertise, board development and management recruitment. The firm targets companies generating $10 to $150 million in revenue and selectively makes minority and majority investments in a portfolio of well-positioned companies.
With extensive internal operating experience, the professionals play a meaningful role working with management to capitalize on the next stage of portfolio companies’ growth stories.
Associates play a central role in supporting the evaluation, structuring, negotiation and financing of transactions, as well as in the monitoring of portfolio companies. Working with a small deal team in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, Associates have constant interaction with the most senior members of the firm as well as the senior management of the portfolio companies.
Responsibilities- Assume a lead role in the modeling, financial analysis and valuation of potential transactions
- Prepare presentations and investment memoranda for the Firm’s analysis of transactions
- Play an integral role in the transaction team through the due diligence and closing process
- Monitor existing investments in the firm’s portfolio
- Tracking industry trends, visiting trade shows and sourcing potential transactions
We look to attract pre-MBAs to this position. While the position is a two-year commitment, exceptional performers will be considered for a third year. Start date will be fall 2026; 2-4 years of strategy consulting, transaction advisory or investment banking experience required, and additional operating experience is welcomed.
