Our client, a growing private equity firm, is currently hiring an Associate or Senior Associate to support Investor Relations and Fundraising. The role will support the Founder in leading fundraising execution and investor communications, including preparing fundraising materials and data rooms, managing investor due diligence requests, facilitating the processing of subscription agreements, actively participating in investor and prospective investor meetings, and collaborating closely with their marketing, finance, operations, compliance, and legal team.
The level of hire will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
- Support fundraising execution across one or more active private equity fund vehicles, including maintaining the investor pipeline and tracking commitments from first call through close.
- Prepare and maintain fundraising materials, including pitch decks, data rooms, DDQs/RFPs, and quarterly investor reporting.
- Maintain the firm's CRM with investor and prospect information, coordinating with back office and fund administrators on investor data and subscription document processing.
- Collaborate closely with finance, marketing, legal, and compliance to ensure alignment on fundraising messaging, positioning, and strategy.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and refinement of investor relations and fundraising processes and procedures.
- Actively participate in investor and prospective investor calls and meetings, including roadshow scheduling and preparation.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience for Associate-level candidates, or 4-6 years for Senior Associate-level candidates, in financial services, fundraising, or professional services.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Previous experience in investor relations, fundraising, capital raising, or client services within the financial services industry, preferably with experience in private equity, private credit, venture funds, family offices, or other alternative investments.
- Proven relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with investors, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent personnel, project management, and time management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Dealcloud and/or Hubspot is a plus.
