Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually
Role OverviewThe Operations Officer II is responsible for the day ‑ to ‑ day execution of branch operations and serves as a key resource for deposit services. This role ensures deposit activity is delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with Bank standards, while actively supporting clients in selecting, implementing, and using deposit products. The role operates in a primarily digital servicing environment, with most client interactions conducted through online and phone channels, and limited in ‑ person engagement.
CoreResponsibilities
As an Operations Officer II, you are accountable for operational execution and deposit service delivery, including:
- Overseeing daily branch operations to ensure deposit services are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with Bank policies and procedures
- Ensuring the branch is operationally ready, including systems, equipment, supplies, and required controls
- Supporting deposit growth by helping clients understand and properly use deposit products and services
- Serving as a go ‑ to operational resource for deposit relationships, working closely with Relationship Managers and internal teams
- Reinforcing service standards, professionalism, and accountability through consistent execution and example
- Managing exception processing, wire activity, and other time‑sensitive operational workflows
- Overseeing cash operations, vault activity, and coordination with third ‑ party service providers
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to operational guides, schedules, and documentation requirements
- Safeguarding Bank assets by following and enforcing internal controls, security procedures, and audit requirements
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal banking regulations and completion of required training
- Supporting audits, certifications, and operational reviews through preparation and timely follow-through
- Identifying operational risks or inefficiencies and escalating or recommending practical solutions
The Operations Officer II helps ensure customers’ deposit relationships are supported by reliable execution and informed service. As deposit activity grows or shifts, this role helps the Bank respond by delivering effective deposit solutions without compromising controls or service quality. When this role is operating well, deposits scale smoothly and client trust is reinforced.

- Accurate and timely processing of deposit activity, wires, and operational requests

- A branch environment that operates professionally and reliably, maintaining excellent service standards even under pressure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in branch operations, deposit operations, or a related banking role
- Demonstrated ability to manage non ‑ routine operational issues with minimal supervision
- Solid working knowledge of deposit products, wire processing, and cash operations
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards
- Working knowledge of documentation standards and internal controls
- 4+ years of deposit or branch operations experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience
