The Wealth Relationship Mgmt. (Branch) Sr. Analyst SAFE Act is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes in the area or function. Integrates subject‑matter and industry expertise within a defined area, coordinating and contributing to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates complex and variable issues, weighting alternatives and balancing conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.

Requires strong analytical, communication, diplomacy, and informal/formal leadership skills. Also involved in coaching and training new recruits and influencing decisions through advice and facilitation.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, build and deepen relationships to gain incremental wallet share of the affluent and High Net Worth segment through financial planning and discovery skills.
  • Anticipate the complex financial needs of clients and offer solutions through a wide range of products, services and tools based on client profiling.
  • Recognize and understand clients' banking, credit, and investment needs to provide holistic financial solutions.
  • Provide regular value‑added engagement with clients—high touch, face‑to‑face meetings, consistent communication, and access to seminars.
  • Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio.
  • Proactively source, acquire and expand high‑value customer relationships by maximizing sale and service opportunities.
  • Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate (e.g., Lending Consultants, Financial Advisors, Small Business Partners, Relationship Managers).
  • Organize client events to enhance client bonding.
  • Acquire new clients through converting referral leads.
  • Manage client follow‑up and adhere to all regulatory and compliance operating procedures, including KYC/AML norms.
  • Partner with all roles on the branch team to ensure all clients have a positive in‑branch experience.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Qualifications
  • 5‑8 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience using Money Guide Pro, Navi Plan Select, or similar financial planning software preferred.
  • Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred.
  • Self‑starter, problem‑solver and goal‑oriented team player able to work without direction.
  • Required current US FINRA Registration: SIE, Series 6, 63 and 65 OR Series 7 and 66 or equivalent.
  • Must meet all US FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting in the role.
  • Insurance Group 1 required.
  • Must meet all Insurance Group 1 requirements within 150 days of starting in the role.
  • Must register as a mortgage loan originator, obtain a unique identifier from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, and maintain and renew that registration annually.
Education
  • Bachelor's or university degree or equivalent experience.
Location and Compensation

Primary location:
San Francisco, California, United States.

Full‑time salary range: $88,400 – $132,600.
