Role:
Strategic Director of FP&A responsible for financial planning, analysis, and insights within Rakuten Rewards to optimize performance and resource allocation.
Responsibilities:- lead annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans
- partner with business unit leaders providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations
- oversee financial reporting, dashboards, and KPIs
- collaborate with marketing analytics on revenue and lifetime value analysis
- identify opportunities for financial improvement and risk mitigation
- contribute to revenue planning and support the Japan parent company
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics
- 7+ years in FP&A, with 2-3 years in leadership roles managing complex analyses
- strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
- proficient in Excel, Adaptive, Tableau
- excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and adaptability
e-commerce, digital marketing, and rewards platform; focus on GMV, revenue, profit, and operating expenses; strategic planning in a fast-paced environment, with a global scope including Japan.
