The CPUC's Public Advisor's Office within the External Affairs Division is seeking a Program Project Supervisor to lead a team of dedicated analysts. In this role, you'll help ensure the public has a meaningful voice in the CPUC's decision-making process. You'll break down complex rules and policies into clear, accessible information, and help people understand how they can participate in CPUC proceedings.

Under the general direction of the Public Advisor, the Program and Project Supervisor (PPS) is responsible for planning, organizing, training, and directing the work of professional staff. The PPS will oversee and manage the staff assigned to the Public Advisor's Office and ensure that the staff carry out the mandates of Sections 321 (a), (b), and (c) of the Public Utilities Code.

Working Conditions

This is a statewide recruitment. This position can be filled in the following locations:
San Francisco or Sacramento.

This position requires travel.

This is a hybrid position that will require the selected candidate to report to their assigned headquarter office a minimum of two (2) days a week. Hybrid positions may be eligible for telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. In accordance with CPUC Telework Policy, telework arrangements are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
