State Government Audit Supervisor

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a State Government Audit Supervisor in our San Francisco office. This position involves overseeing a team of auditors who are responsible for examining the financial records of state government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, auditing, and leadership skills.

• Lead and manage a team of auditors in conducting audits of state government agencies
• Review financial documents and records to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Provide guidance and training to staff members on auditing procedures
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
