This position is located in the Department of Education, Office of Finance and Operations, Office of Acquisitions Management, Contracts and Acquisitions Management Division, Performance and Logistics Branch. The incumbent serves as a recognized expert in the area of Federal procurement policy and acquisition management.
Conditions of Employment:Candidates within the Federal Government must provide a copy of their Federal Acquisitions Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) (Professional). Applicants who fail to meet the selective factor are ineligible for further consideration.
Applicants outside of the Federal Government must obtain and maintain Federal Acquisitions Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) (Professional) within 24 months of the hiring date.
Minimum Qualification RequirementsYou may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-13, if you possess the specialized experience and meet the education requirements.
Specialized Experience for the GS-13One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-12 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments:
