Role Description

We have a custom path for growth at Spoke & Weal. Each of our assistant team members learns and perform all aspect of salon operations and contributes to guest-centered salon services like prepping hair for dry-cuts, blow-drying and styling guests after color services, and performing signature rituals on guests. This is a full-time on-site role for a Hair Salon Assistant at Spoke & Weal at our Austin, TX location.

Every member is expected to engage in continued learning via advanced cutting and/or color training with Christine Thompson, Lindsay Victoria and our master team, as well as attend required weekly education to ensure a successful transition to a Stylist or Color Specialist on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist stylists with various services.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment.
• Anticipate the needs of guests and stylists to create a seamless work flow and guest experience.
• Engage with clients to provide excellent customer service, addressing their needs and preferences
