Job Details:

• Work 4x8 PM shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Weekend rotation required with no on-call responsibilities

• Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• Float as needed to PCU, Med/Surg Tele, or VNC units

• 24 hours of orientation required

• Care for adult and geriatric patients in 10-bed ICU with daily census of 7

• 3 years of ICU experience required, 4 years preferred

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Required certifications:
California RN License, BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS

• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CCRN

• Epic charting system experience required

• Must have extensive critical care skills including ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, and neurocritical care

• 7-year work history verification required

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing

• 50-mile travel requirement applies

• Complete non-billable e-learning modules during orientation

The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized interpretation services. The ICU is equipped with advanced monitoring technology and provides care for complex medical conditions requiring intensive intervention and monitoring.
