Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site Audiologist role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Audiologist will be responsible for performing hearing and balance assessments, implementing hearing screening programs for various age groups, interpreting diagnostic results, and creating tailored treatment plans. Additionally, the role includes fitting, adjusting, and maintaining hearing aids to ensure optimal performance, as well as providing patient education on hearing health and device care.
Qualifications- Proficient in conducting detailed hearing and balance evaluations, including diagnostic tests and assessments.
- Expertise in fitting and adjusting hearing aids; experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of hearing devices is essential.
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills, with the ability to educate on hearing conservation and care techniques.
- Experience in implementing and managing newborn, pediatric, and senior screening programs is a plus.
- Professional certification in audiology (e.g., AuD or Master's in Audiology) is required.
- Licensure to practice as an Audiologist in California is mandatory.
- Empathy, problem-solving skills, and a patient-centered approach are crucial for success in this role.
