Responsibilities
- Perform risk adjustment medical coding with high accuracy and productivity
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT codes
- Review and analyze clinical documentation in EHR systems
- Ensure 95%+ coding accuracy while meeting daily productivity standards
- Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and management
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years healthcare coding or related experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
- Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS & CPT coding systems
- Excellent communication, analytical, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure
- COC, CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA or other coding certification
