Intern, Integrated Discovery Research

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As an intern on the Integrated Discovery Research team, you will be part of an integrated, multidisciplinary research team making significant contributions toward the discovery of important new drug candidates. This opportunity will include:

• Being trained to synthesize biologically active compounds, including the design and execution of the synthetic routes, purification of final compounds, and participating in analog design.
• Planning and executing experiments to support research activities.
• Learning to use key instruments including LCMS, NMR, and prep HPLC.
• Learning to effectively present research findings to the Integrated Discovery Research team.
• Partnering in scientific activities with other outstanding medicinal chemists and creating an environment where all ideas are heard.

• Working towards bachelor’s (B.S., B.A., or equivalent) degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Strong communication skills, well-organized, and high attention to detail.

• By the start of the internship will have completed a 2 nd year organic chemistry course and the associated lab course.
• Preferably having basic familiarity with NMR, HPLC, and mass spectrometry from teaching labs or prior research experience.

The base pay salary range for this intern position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the base pay salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in. Our base pay salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Individual base pay salary is determined by multiple factors, including job‑related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
