Research Data Analysis

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, acquires skills and knowledge of professional concepts in research data analysis. Works on small projects or segments of projects with limited scope and complexity.

The specific work will be qualitative data extraction and analysis and assisting with interpretation of overall study findings and preparing materials for data dissemination.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.

The salary range for this position is $31.47 - $67.19 (Hourly Rate).

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Foundational knowledge about the construct of diabetes distress and methods for measuring this construct.
• Acquiring knowledge of research function. Acquiring ability to perform research analysis duties.
• Acquiring statistical analysis, systems programming, and database design skills to perform research analysis duties.
• Ability to effectively manage time and see assigned parts of projects through to completion by deadline.
• Basic consultation and communication skills.

• Experience with transcription, extraction, analysis, and interpretation of qualitative data.
