Position: Overnight Front Office Supervisor (Temporary) - InterContinental San Francisco

This role will provide temporary overnight supervisory support during an existing leave of absence.

A Little Bit About You Day-to-day

We are seeking a dynamic hospitality professional who is ready to move beyond traditional front desk responsibilities and take full ownership of the guest experience from pre‑arrival through check‑out. This role is ideal for a service‑driven leader who thrives in a hands‑on environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the complete guest journey, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Serve as Night Manager two nights per week, assuming full operational responsibility for the hotel during assigned shifts
  • Provide coverage for the Night Auditor two nights per week, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth overnight operations
  • Support hotel operations in a fifth workday capacity, assisting in any area needed to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency

This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain cross‑departmental experience, and make a meaningful impact on overall hotel performance.

Each day is different but mostly you will
  • Ensure staff is properly trained including service expectations, hotel facilities and services, local directions, property management and reservations systems, safety and emergency procedures, etc.
  • Assist with auditing procedures.
  • Monitor performance and recommend corrective or disciplinary action.
  • Alert management of potentially serious issues.
  • Up‑Sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
  • Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier or other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/security assigned bank.
What We Need From You

Minimum of two years’ front office/guest relations experience, with some supervisory training/experience preferred.

Degree in hospitality or related field is preferred.

Will be required to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.

What We Offer

The hourly pay range for this role is $36.50 to $38.00
.

This position is eligible for bonus pay.
