The Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero seeks a Food & Beverage Manager in Training (M.I.T.) to join our talented team! As an M.I.T you will spend 12-18 months rotating through our Food & Beverage outlets. This position is designed to give you the tools to accelerate your career and succeed as a Manager for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.

• Guest engagement skills to effectively develop guest rapport and ensure strong outlet success in achieving high level of guest comment card scores consistently above benchmark standards
• Restaurant floor presence skills, food & beverage knowledge and attention to service standard compliance detail
• Inventory controls, understanding of international wines, spirits, and beers
• Bar background, ability to understand innovative mixology program
• Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

• Reading, written and oral proficiency in the English language is required
• Viable candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of hospitality experience
• Must be able to cope with stress and work in a high-volume operation
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
