House Attendant

The Clift Royal Sonesta San Francisco is seeking a dependable and service-oriented House Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. The House Attendant helps maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel's public and back-of-house areas while supporting Room Attendants and responding promptly to guest needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest hallways, elevators, stairwells, public areas, service areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Vacuum carpets, clean floors, dust surfaces, remove trash, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Deliver linens, towels, amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and other requested items to guestrooms.
• Stock housekeeping closets and carts with linens, supplies, and guest amenities.
• Collect soiled linens and trash from guestroom floors and transport them to designated areas.
• Assist Room Attendants with stripping guestrooms and other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost-and-found items, and unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, keys, and guest property.
• Comply with all hotel safety, security, sanitation, and service standards.
• Support the Housekeeping team with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience is preferred but not required.
• A strong commitment to cleanliness and guest service.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments independently.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests and coworkers.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular standing and walking throughout the shift, as well as bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and using stairs. The House Attendant must be able to move housekeeping carts and equipment and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance or reasonable accommodation when appropriate.

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

Hourly rate is from $33.76 to $34.76 follows contract requirements.
