About

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative HR Manager to join our growing People Team. The ideal candidate will be focused on building a culture of performance at Mochi Health during a period of scale and growth. This person will also spearhead culture and engagement initiatives as we make Mochi Health a true best place to work. They will collaborate across leaders, be unafraid of being a beacon of growth and change, and work to establish HR guidelines and practices so all Mochi employees feel impactful.

They will partner closely with the VP People to evolve Mochi’s growing culture.

What You’ll Do
  • Centralize our Mochi Performance Management culture and develop the ideal process, system, and administration in order to drive overall company, departmental, and individual employee performance
  • Manage all Employee Relations issues; building our response process, addressing all employee concerns, and mitigating risk for the company
  • Develop impactful Culture & Engagement initiatives in order to make Mochi Health an ideal working environment where people come, stay, and refer others to join in our mission. Own our engagement survey process in order to gain feedback and insight and ground our engagement in data
  • Manage all benefits issues and partner with People Operations in order to maximize our benefits offerings and administration
  • Oversee all Immigration and Leaves of Absence
  • Develop Management Training and own the administration of all company and state‑required trainings. Partner closely with the VP People in the development and administration of Leadership Training
  • Ensure all HR processes and employment policies are up‑to‑date and well documented in our knowledge base
  • Be a champion and constantly exhibit the ideal culture we want all of Mochi to represent.
Who You Are
  • 7+ years in HR or People Operations functions with 3+ years in a capacity owning HR projects, people, or processes
  • Must have experience working in a nimble and scaling startup environment
  • Experience developing and administering various training programs (i.e. managerial training, harassment prevention training, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and workplace/safety regulations
  • Proven success at launching innovative culture and engagement programs within scaling startups
  • Has owned the end‑to‑end performance management process for a company including subsequent coaching, compensation, and promotion processes
  • Must have excellent communication both written and verbal, and be unafraid to engage directly with employees
  • Must be highly organized and driven through project‑planning, tracking, documentation, communication, and data
