About Abridge

Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform was purpose-built for medical conversations, improving clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on what matters most—their patients.

Our enterprise-grade technology transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Powered by Linked Evidence and our purpose-built, auditable AI, we are the only company that maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. As pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, we are setting the industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI across health systems.

We are a growing team of practicing MDs, AI scientists, PhDs, creatives, technologists, and engineers working together to empower people and make care make more sense. We have offices located in the Mission District in San Francisco, the SoHo neighborhood of New York, and East Liberty in Pittsburgh.

The Role

Abridge is looking for a passionate and strategic University Recruiting Program Manager to establish and scale our early talent programs. As our first hire dedicated to early careers, you’ll own the strategy and execution of our university programs, shaping how students and new grads experience Abridge and telling our story on campus and beyond. This role will be foundational in shaping our long-term talent brand, cultivating strong university partnerships, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience for early career talent.

Reporting to the Recruiting Operations Manager, you’ll partner with hiring managers and leaders across the company to bring our mission—powering deeper understanding in healthcare—to life for the next generation of talent. You’ll design standout candidate experiences, create long-lasting university partnerships, and ensure Abridge is seen as an employer of choice for students who want to build meaningful careers in AI and healthcare.

What You’ll Do
  • Build Abridge’s university presence:
Establish Abridge as a destination for top student talent by developing authentic, engaging, and differentiated brand campaigns.

  • Own early career programs:
Design and manage scalable internship, PhD, and new graduate programs, from sourcing through conversion.

  • Tell our story:
Partner with Marketing and People teams to create compelling content (social, digital, on-campus materials) that showcases Abridge’s mission, culture, and impact.

  • Strategic partnerships:
Cultivate strong relationships with faculty, career centers, and student organizations to deepen Abridge’s campus presence.

  • Event leadership:
Plan and execute high-impact recruiting events (tech talks, career fairs, hackathons), ensuring every touchpoint reinforces our talent brand.

  • Candidate experience:
Deliver a transparent, human-centered recruiting journey through high-touch and transparent communications that represent our brand.

  • Intern program management:
Onboard and support interns, coordinate mentorship, facilitate feedback, and drive intern-to-full-time conversion.

  • Measure and refine:
Track metrics like conversion rates, brand reach, and candidate satisfaction to continuously improve impact.

What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on early talent programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Proven success building or scaling programs that blend recruiting with strong employer branding.

  • Full-cycle recruiting expertise: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.

  • Strong program and event management skills — able to juggle multiple schools, events, and recruiting cycles simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable representing Abridge externally with students, faculty, and career services.

  • Collaborative, low-ego approach with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.

  • Data orientation—experience measuring conversion rates, event ROI, and candidate experience metrics. Ashby ATS experience a plus.

  • Willingness to travel to universities and…
