Butler Armsden Architects is thriving, with an expanding portfolio of exceptional projects across San Francisco and the Bay Area. From high-end modern residences to meticulous historic renovations, we are continuously pushing the boundaries of custom residential design—and we’re looking for a talented individual to support our team in an HR function.
We are not only looking at candidates for their ability to meet the position they are interviewing for, we are also projecting the next five years of their career trajectory. We look at the totality of the person to ensure a hand-in-glove fit with our core values.
We need someone to support our staff in their growth through various touch points. Our annual review cycle is tailored to each staff member to ensure that the channels of communication are always open and feedback is clear. We work with staff to set goals that align with their growth in both the short and long term. Strategically scheduled check‑ins throughout the year help to ensure that they have the ability to navigate their journey with clarity.
Our support goes beyond facilitating their development as a professional in the industry. We also foster an environment for personal connection through activities led by our DEI committee, an annual awards ceremony, company happy hours, anniversary celebrations, and more. Our Coffee with a Teammate program pairs staff each month for a conversation at any of the nearby cafes where they can get to know their colleagues outside of the day‑to‑day office setting.
We are looking for someone to continue fostering our culture of creativity, independence, and hands‑on learning. This person will buy into the collaborative environment by creating seamless communication across all teams and levels. You will have the opportunity to shape an evolving culture and add your own experience from successful initiatives to a team of open‑minded individuals.
