Role Purpose

As an HR Advisor, you will support HR Managers and HRBPs in delivering HR services, advising employees and managers on all areas of the employee lifecycle in accordance with policies, procedures and processes to enable engagement, capability, and compliance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide generalist HR advice, support and coaching to managers and employees across the employee lifecycle including performance management, absence, probation etc.
  • Provide HR presence in our San Francisco office
  • Provision of in-country HR processing, where required
  • Deliver high-quality, timely HR process support including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding.
  • Partner with HR Managers and HRBPs to implement people initiatives and ensure alignment with best practice and company values per the HR strategy
  • Advise HR Managers and HRBPs on employment law in specific jurisdictions where applicable
  • Support HR Managers and HRBPs with employee relations case management, including note taking, case documentation, and managing low-risk ER matters.
  • Support global immigration processes, audit and compliance.
  • Support HRSS ticketing system by ensuring timely resolution (participating in regular ticket rotation as required).
  • Contribute to policy, SOP (Standard Operating procedures) development, contract and handbook reviews and processes.
  • Maintain HR systems (e.g. Bamboo) and ensure data accuracy and integrity to support effective reporting and compliance.
  • Assist with the implementation of employee lifecycle events including recruitment, selection, induction, and engagement initiatives.
  • Promote inclusion and equitable practices in all HR processes.
  • Support communication and delivery of HR projects, programs, and policy updates.
  • Provide input into HR reporting, metrics, and insights to identify trends and support continuous improvement and decision making.
  • Support audit and compliance reviews and processes.
  • Ensure all HR activity complies with employment and data protection legislation and internal governance standards.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, documentation, and tools.
  • Provide support for HRSS team members during periods of absence or peak workload to ensure business continuity.

  • Knowledge of employment law in relevant jurisdictions highly desirable
  • Up to date knowledge of good practice and emerging trends in the field of HR
  • Experience of supporting the implementation of change initiatives, ideally within a rapidly growing or evolving business setting.
  • Experience of working within the payments industry or Fintech is an advantage.
  • Previous experience with Bamboo

    HR, Greenhouse, and Culture Amp are advantageous.
Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 5 or global equivalent qualification.
  • Full employee lifecycle experience from HR Advisor perspective; this includes performance management processes, talent management processes, culture and engagement, learning and development.
