Kalos is an early stage, high‑growth startup based in San Francisco, CA. We built Blue – an AI Agent that is the world's best performance marketer. Blue works 24/7 to build and optimize ad campaigns to help our customers grow faster. We are 5 people, and you'd be #6 on the team. Our early customers include well‑known Silicon Valley tech companies, including multiple unicorns.

We have more demand than we've been able to service. We're hiring on many fronts and it's time to go faster.

As our first designer, you’ll define how modern B2B marketing tools should look, feel, and work — from product UX to visual identity. You'll have an important voice in our brand design, product direction, and vision. This is a full‑time Product Design role. The current team is in San Francisco, and this role is in person at Kalos HQ. We work hard and we know we're building a generational company.

• Own product design from end to end: workflows, dashboards, onboarding, agent UX, etc.
• Translate complex workflows and AI capabilities into intuitive interfaces
• Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to build fast and iterate
• Bring our AI agent to life with smart, user‑centered design
• Train our AI to help customers with their brand and Ad design
• Set up our design systems, workflows, and long‑term design culture
• Talk to users, gather insights, and turn them into product magic

• 3–6+ years of product/UX design experience, preferably at startups or 0→1 products and in SaaS or B2B.
• A portfolio that shows off clean, user‑focused design and systems thinking that you can share.
• Fluency with design tools (Figma, etc.) and a love for prototyping.
• Ability to work independently and make bold design decisions.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly.
• Interest in AI/LLMs is a bonus — but a great design mindset is key.
