Overview
The SVP – Head of CMT will lead the global Communications, Media & Technology vertical, owning P&L, growth strategy, and executive client relationships
. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
, this role will drive strategic engagement with West Coast technology, media, OTT, and platform-led enterprises
, positioning the company as a preferred partner for large-scale digital and AI-led transformation.
This is a market-facing, growth-led leadership role requiring strong presence with CXOs, ecosystem partners, and industry influencers.
ResponsibilitiesBusiness & P&L Leadership
- Own global P&L for the CMT vertical, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and deal profitability.
- Define and execute a multi-year growth roadmap aligned to corporate strategy.
- Lead and close large, complex transformation deals ($50M–$200M+) across North America and global markets.
Client & Market Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CXO stakeholders across Communications, Media, Technology, and Platform companies.
- Build deep relationships with West Coast tech majors, digital-native firms, ISVs, hyperscalers, and media companies
. - Represent the organization in industry forums, analyst engagements, and executive round tables
.
Solutions & Portfolio Strategy
- Drive industry solutions across:
- Cloud, Data, AI & GenAI
- 5G, Network Transformation, BSS/OSS
- Partner with delivery, engineering, and innovation teams to scale differentiated CMT offerings.
- Lead a global team of Client Partners, VPs, and Delivery Leaders
. - Build strong leadership succession and a high-performance culture.
- Mentor senior leaders and drive talent development across regions.
Alliances & Ecosystem
- Strengthen partnerships with hyperscalers, OEMs, ISVs, and strategic technology partners
. - Co-create GTM strategies and joint offerings for the CMT market.
Experience
- 20–25+ years in IT Services / Consulting with significant CMT vertical leadership experience.
- Proven leadership of $300M+ industry portfolios
. - Strong track record of winning and scaling large transformation programs
. - Prior experience as Industry Head, Vertical Leader, Market Unit Head, or SVP-level role preferred.
Leadership & Skills
- Deep P&L ownership and commercial acumen.
- Exceptional CXO presence and executive communication
. - Experience working with North American clients and global delivery models.
- Ability to operate at board-level and executive leadership forums
.
