Forward Deployed Engineering Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA (In-person)

Compensation: $150K - $225K

We are building the definitive platform for understanding and improving how engineering teams work. We believe the current methods for measuring engineering output are fundamentally broken. By leveraging modern AI, we provide teams with an accurate, actionable view of productivity and impact—without the vanity metrics.

• Customer Ownership:
  Lead the entire post-sale journey, from high-touch onboarding to long-term account management and technical support
• Act as a "Forward Deployed" Lead:
  Deeply understand our customers' organizational structures to help them improve engineering outcomes
• Technical Troubleshooting:
  Diagnose complex issues across cloud infrastructure (GCP) and our internal systems; reproduce bugs and create actionable reports for the core engineering team
• Hands-on Fixing:
  Don't just report bugs—fix them. You'll submit small PRs for documentation, configuration changes, and simple code fixes
• Strategic Influence:
  Partner directly with our founders (CEO and CTO) to translate customer feedback into product roadmap and strategy

• Management
  
  Experience:
  
  You have previously held a Product Management or Engineering Management role
• Technical Foundation: A background in Software Engineering, Dev Ops, or a similar technical field is required
• Code Literate:
  You are comfortable reading/writing code and confident making PRs in Git Hub
• Expert Communicator:
  You can navigate intense situations with customers and explain complex technical concepts with clarity
• Proactive Mindset:
  You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity startup environment where you own the results

• Experience working with developer tools or B2B SaaS products
• Previous experience in Technical Support or Solutions Engineering
