The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking an experienced Pro Serve Cloud Architect (PCA). In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, designing and implementing tailored cloud solutions. You will be a key player in the pre‑sales process, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the customer’s cloud journey.
As a PCA, you are a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions to address customer challenges. You will share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, creation of reusable artifacts, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Design complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)
- Provide technical guidance and best practices during pre‑sales and implementation phases
- Collaborate with Account Managers and customers to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of cloud‑based solution experience (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating system experience, or AWS Associate level certification
- Experience with software development lifecycle, or experience with training and deploying machine learning systems to solve large‑scale optimizations
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Technical or
Functional area

- Knowledge of AWS services, such as Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Elastic Block Storage (EBS), and Simple Storage Service (S3)
- Experience with compliance & security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud computing technologies
- Experience communicating technical concepts to a non‑technical audience
- Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, Dev Ops Engineer Professional) preferred
- Experienced in proposing solutions, developing estimates, and responding to request for information

Base salary range:
Colorado $131,300‑$177,600 annually;
National $118,200‑$204,300 annually.
