Field Technician – Nalco Water, Ecolab
Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is looking for a Field Technician to join our industry‑leading team. In this role you will provide technical support to customers on the automotive manufacturing site, monitoring and maintaining air and water quality systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do- Perform daily quality analysis of process applications on small intricate parts.
- Provide routine and special application service support to customers.
- Execute required chemistry tests and log data.
- Maintain product inventories and verify air and fluid leaks on a test stand.
- Operate a Fluke meter to check sensitivity and troubleshoot system performance.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite for data entry and reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional interface with customers.
- Ability to analyze readings and organize data in a spreadsheet logically.
- Above‑average verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain results of data gathering to customers.
- Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position, which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing.
- Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
