About the Role

We are looking for an experienced manager to lead and coordinate our endpoint management team, which is part of our Modern Workplace IT-domain. This role is critical in ensuring seamless device lifecycle management from staging and deployment to advanced security and compliance while driving continuous improvement and aligning with organizational priorities. Your team will manage a diverse fleet of laptops, desktops, smartphones, and other endpoints (PDAs), leveraging Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 services to deliver secure, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.

In addition to end-user devices, the team also cares about smart printing solutions and the modern equipment used in our conference rooms.

This position is ideal for someone who combines both deep technical expertise with strong management skills. You will manage a team located in various locations in Europe and oversee device and related support management, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant Microsoft 365 environments for enterprise endpoints.

Context

SARIA's IT is a centralized unit which provides modern solutions and services for all European sites and offices. Within the Modern Workplace & Communications department, the position reports to the head of department based in France.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic Contribution

  • Act as the primary point of contact and trusted expert for all endpoint management activities.

  • Participate in senior-level discussions and contribute to strategic decisions on client technologies, policies, and lifecycle management.

  • Lead and coordinate endpoint-related initiatives, providing technical direction and team leadership when required.

  • Coach and mentor team members, simplifying complex technical concepts into actionable guidance.

Process Improvement & Governance

  • Drive continuous improvement by proposing and implementing enhancements to client management processes, tools, and standards.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, reference materials, and best-practice guidelines.

Endpoint & Device Management

  • Configure and manage Microsoft Intune and related Microsoft 365 services for device and application management.

  • Define, implement, and enforce Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies.

  • Manage Azure AD joined devices, balancing security with user flexibility.

  • Monitor device compliance and enforce data protection measures to safeguard corporate information.

  • Oversee device staging and preparation processes, including imaging, configuration, and quality checks prior to deployment.

· Manage inventory and logistics for endpoint devices, ensuring accurate asset tracking and timely provisioning.

  • Ensure timely provisioning and readiness of laptops, desktops, smartphones, and other endpoints and peripherals for end-users.

Advanced Support & Incident Resolution

  • Ensure the team provides Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for all endpoint-related issues, including complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of escalated incidents.

  • Oversee the handling of critical endpoint problems, ensuring timely and effective solutions that minimize business disruption.

  • Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve cross-platform or integrated system issues, maintaining high standards of service quality and user satisfaction.

  • Drive knowledge transfer within the team to strengthen expertise and reduce resolution times for recurring issues.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure implementation of advanced security strategies, including attack surface reduction and data loss prevention, leveraging Microsoft 365 tools.
