About the Staff Product Manager, Personalization at Headspace
:
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager, Personalization to create a relevant product experience that is personalized to major audience segments, maximizing activation, retention, and LTV for specialized demographic audiences and accelerating efficient global market adoption. This role will be pivotal in ensuring Headspace products are culturally, linguistically, and functionally ready for global and demographic expansion, delivering deeply tailored, equitable experiences for all core user groups.
At Headspace, product leaders are expected to model experimentation with purpose, share feedback with care, and a deep commitment to the member journey. This role will require strategic leadership, clarity, and curiosity to scale our personalization capabilities for a diverse, global audience.

We are currently hiring this role in San Francisco (hybrid), Los Angeles (remote), New York City (remote) and Seattle (remote). Candidates must permanently reside in the US full-time and be based in these cities.

- Define and own the personalization strategy for all key segments, including geographic and demographic segments.
- Manage the Localization (L10N)/Internationalization (I18N) Platform
, ensuring foundational technology supports global readiness and expansion. - Collaborate with Design Research to spearhead consumer expansion into new locales
. - Implement and optimize Explicit/Implicit Language of Preference (LoP) logic to deliver the right experiences in the right language.
- Drive Translation Quality Assurance processes to maintain high-quality, culturally sensitive product experiences worldwide.
- Lead Feature Prioritization for New Locales/Specialized Segments
, ensuring feature parity and compliance across markets and user groups. - Partner closely with Core & Personalization Product, Engineering, Data Science, Content, and Legal teams to ensure successful execution and adoption of the roadmap.
- Required Skills
: - 6+ years of experience in Product Management with at least 2+ years in consumer applications.
- Proven track record of defining and launching products that scale globally and address diverse user segments.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, capable of translating global/demographic requirements into clear roadmaps and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
- Preferred Skills
: - Experience launching personalized content experiences for kids.
- Deep understanding of L10N/I18N platforms, workflows, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience managing products focused on content delivery in multiple languages/locales.
- Experience in digital health, wellness, or consumer subscription sectors.
- A passion for mindfulness, mental health, and the mission of Headspace.
The anticipated base salary range for this full-time position is $140,400 - $224,250 + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are based on job, level, and location and reflect the lowest to highest geographic markets where we are hiring in the United States. Individual compensation is determined by location and other factors including relevant experience, skills, and education.
