Forward-Deployed Engineer

Seeking an experienced Forward-Deployed Engineer to join our team al candidates will have strong full-stack development experience, exceptional customer-facing skills, and the ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve complex production issues.

Codegen is hiring a full-time Forward-Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering and customer success.

The role involves direct customer engagement, rapid issue resolution, and maintaining system stability across diverse deployment environments. This position is suited for professionals who thrive in customer-facing technical roles.

Our technology stack is centered around Python backend services, React frontend, and deep integrations with Git Hub, Linear, Slack, and other developer tools.

• 3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with React, Python, APIs, and databases
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of resolving critical production issues under tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, deployment pipelines, and production operations
• Experience in customer-facing roles or technical consulting environments
• Self-guided problem-solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Customer Issue Resolution: Rapidly diagnose, triage, and resolve customer-reported technical issues
• Deployment Support: Guide enterprise customers through complex integrations and custom deployments
• Release Management: Coordinate safe and stable product releases, including monitoring rollouts and emergency rollbacks
• Technical Consultation: Provide expert guidance on best practices for Codegen implementation
