Location:
100% remote, anywhere in the US, but observing 10am-3pm PST working hours.
Compensation: $140,000 plus bonus and equity.
Role OverviewWe’re looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to take ownership of our web platform and help drive measurable growth through technical excellence.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and revenue. You’ll serve as the technical steward of our web presence—building a high-performance Word Press platform while helping evolve our frontend stack toward modern frameworks.

What You’ll Own Growth-Centric Web Development- Build and maintain a fast, scalable Word Press platform optimized for organic visibility
- Implement structured data, schema markup, and advanced on-site SEO strategies
- Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals performance
- Manage large-scale sitemaps, crawlability, and indexation strategy
- Develop infrastructure that supports next-generation search discoverability
- Implement semantic content structures and structured data frameworks that enhance visibility in AI-driven search environments
- Continuously refine the site’s authority and citation-readiness
- Create flexible Word Press components and publishing workflows
- Enable non-technical teams to launch high-converting landing pages independently
- Reduce reliance on engineering for day-to-day content updates
- Maintain and extend the current Word Press ecosystem
- Contribute to new initiatives built in Next.js with React and Type Script
- Ensure seamless data exchange between systems using REST APIs or GraphQL
- Uphold strong engineering standards across deployments, environments, and CI/CD
- 3+ years of professional experience in a product-focused engineering environment
- Strong background in web technologies and performance optimization
- Advanced Word Press knowledge (core customization, Block Editor/Gutenberg, API integrations)
- Proficiency in React and Type Script
- Experience working with or building in Next.js
- Deep understanding of technical SEO principles, including structured data and site architecture
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows, containerized development, and performance monitoring tools
- Growth-oriented and performance-driven
- Analytical thinker who understands how technical decisions impact user behavior
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with marketing and product teams
- Interested in leveraging AI tools to improve development speed and quality
