As a Sales Engineer at Hover, you will play a critical role in shaping how our largest and most strategic insurance customers evaluate and adopt our products. You'll partner closely with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and ensure customers clearly understand how Hover fits into their workflows and broader ecosystems.nThis is a unique opportunity to join a growing function within our Insurance vertical, where you'll have the autonomy to help define how we engage customers technically and influence how the team scales.

You'll operate at the intersection of customer needs, product innovation, and revenue growth-making a direct impact on our $1M+ customer segment.nYou will contribute bynYou will serve as the technical product expert throughout the sales process, partnering closely with Account Executives to guide customers from discovery through pilot execution. You'll lead product demonstrations, scope customer workflows, and ensure that technical requirements are well understood before implementation.nYou

will also act as a critical feedback loop between customers and Product, surfacing insights that shape our roadmap and improve our offerings. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with GTM teams, Product, and Engineering to ensure alignment across customer needs and internal execution.nAs you build deep expertise across Hover's product suite and its place within the broader ecosystem, you'll help drive more effective and scalable sales processes.

Over time, you'll have the opportunity to influence how this function evolves and potentially grow into a leadership role as the team expands.nKey Responsibilities nn Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery and solution designn

Deliver tailored product demos for prospective and existing customersn

Scope and validate customer workflows prior to pilot executionn

Act as the primary technical point of contact during the pre-sales processn

Translate customer needs into actionable product and engineering insightsn

Collaborate with GTM, Product, and Engineering teams to improve customer outcomesnn

Your background includesnn3-6 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar pre-sales role supporting complex productsn

Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments, with comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving processesn

Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesn

Proven experience partnering closely with sales teams to drive customer outcomesn

Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, and GTM teamsn

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challengesnn

Nice-to-havesnn

Experience working within insurance, property tech, or adjacent ecosystemsn

Familiarity with enterprise customer workflows and integrationsn
