Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Service Now FSM Developer to design, develop, and enhance Field Service Management solutions on the Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with FSM modules, mobile workforce enablement, integrations, and workflow automation, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable field service solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize Service Now FSM applications including Work Orders, Task Management, Scheduling, Dispatching, and Mobile.
- Configure and enhance FSM modules such as:
- Work Order Management
- Agent Workspace
- Scheduling & Dispatch
- Mobile FSM
- Inventory & Asset Management
- Develop business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, and workflows/Flow Designer for FSM use cases.
- Customize FSM Mobile App for field technicians (offline/online sync, forms, UI actions).
- Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with ERP, CRM, GIS, and third-party systems.
- Implement security, ACLs, roles, and data access controls.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT and production deployments.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide performance tuning.
- Ensure solutions align with Service Now best practices and upgrade compatibility.
- Strong hands-on experience with Service Now FSM.
- Solid knowledge of Service Now platform scripting:
- Java Script
- Glide API
- Experience with:
- Work Orders & Tasks
- Dispatching & Scheduling
- Mobile FSM configuration
- Assets, CMDB, and Inventory
- Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and scripted REST APIs.
- Understanding of ITSM concepts and Service Now data model.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
