Sr. Manager Solution Architecture, Analytics Specialist Solutions Architects

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Sr. Manager to lead a team of specialist solutions architects to design, evangelize, and architect state‑of‑the‑art Analytics solutions for our customers. The successful candidate must have deep Analytics Solution technical expertise and strong people‑management and mentoring skills. You will help develop the industry’s best Analytics Solutions Architects by enabling and coaching them on how to create and present architectures of widely varying size and complexity, as well as on best practices for specialized solution selling and presentation.

• In partnership with the specialized sales teams, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives.
• Hire, on‑board, train, and develop new Specialist Solutions Architects.
• Coach Specialist Solutions Architects in the skills needed to conduct one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS.
• Step into a Specialist Solutions Architect role when required to support our customer base.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.
• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, blog posts, and other high‑value customer‑facing collateral.

In this role, you will bring technical credibility and the ability to shape the customer‑ and solutions‑focused skills of your team. You must enjoy learning and introducing new technologies, provide thought leadership that considers the value created for customers, and effectively communicate and partner with other teams within AWS, including services teams, field solutions architecture, sales, marketing, business development, and professional services.

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer‑facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.).

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

The base salary range for this position is  –  USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
