Overview

Job Title: Senior Marketing Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site, Remote)
Company: Samba (Media Intelligence)

• Own martech stack (Hub Spot, Demandbase, Salesforce, Clay, etc.)
• Optimize integrations between Marketing and Salesforce
• Lead vendor evaluations and build vs. buy decisions
• Build AI-powered marketing knowledge-base
• Own website performance, A/B testing, and conversion optimization
• Manage marketing data tracking plan and dashboards
• Partner with Data Science and Rev Ops for data accuracy
• Enable AI tooling adoption and internal tool development

• 5+ years software engineering with marketing/growth engineering
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (Hub Spot, Marketo, etc.)
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, web frameworks, and backend languages
• SQL fluency and BI tool expertise
• Salesforce practitioner experience
• Production experience with LLMs
• Comfort working across disciplines

• B2B SaaS, ad-tech, or media experience
• First Marketing Engineer at growth-stage company
• CDP, attribution modeling, or identity resolution knowledge
• Portfolio of internal tools or AI workflows
