Job Description

- Assess current Azure architecture and identify gaps in scalability, security, and cost optimization.
- Redesign existing deployments to align with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and best practices.
- Deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings for enterprise architecture including Azure Networking.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, release management, and automation.

- Knowledge of Docker for containerization of applications and microservices.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Adhere to Corporate Policies and Procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures and any control related.
- Understand customer business requirements and translate them into secure, scalable Azure solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture, technical standards, and cloud adoption strategies.
- Design and implement Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking, and security components.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM templates for automated deployments.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure Dev Ops for application and infrastructure delivery.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Site Recovery or any Relevant Backup solution.
- Ensure compliance and governance through Azure Policy, RBAC, and security best practices.
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.
- Provide technical leadership, documentation, and guidance to development and operations teams.
- Communicate effectively with business and technical teams, demonstrating problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proactive, professional, sets and manages clear expectations, and is clear to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build strong relationships with peers across all Ultragenyx teams. Proactively engage in cross brand knowledge sharing and planning.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues in Architecture, Security, and other Technology departments to ensure operational realities are considered throughout the technical lifecycle.
- Proactively identify the automation/SIP ideas and work with customer for the feasibility check.
- Responsible for optimizing service improvements within the desktop environment.
- Undertake detailed and complex project tasks working alongside the Portfolio Delivery, Architecture, and Business operational teams globally.
Ensure the CAB process is adhered to and agreed processes are followed.
Additional Responsibilities- Quickly learn new technology independently using documentation and online resources.
- Ensure to create KB articles and update SOP's periodically.
- Maintain regular contact with stakeholders during incident and problem resolution.
- Join major incident bridge calls to support customer and resolve complex issues.
- Lead root cause analysis activities, reporting to stakeholders after a major incident.
