Job Title:
Enforcement Operations Specialist
Location:
Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extension up to 12-24 Months)
Pay Rate: $90 - 120.00/hr
Position Overview
As an Enforcement Operations Specialist on the Safeguards Team, you will be responsible for labeling data used for classifier development, implementing enforcement workflows, communicating with customers regarding user safety concerns, reviewing flagged content for account abuse violations, and evaluating new models and products for potential harm.
You will work closely with Policy Managers, Threat Investigators, Enforcement Analysts, Strategy Analysts, and Machine Learning Engineers to strengthen and refine enforcement mechanisms across the platform.

Responsibilities
- Review customer signals, user exchanges, and code to identify potential policy violations
- Enforce established Safeguards workflows and policy guidelines
- Label data across policy categories to support classifier development
- Review flagged content for account abuse and policy violations
- Conduct enforcement audits and escalate findings to relevant teams
- Evaluate new products before and after launch to assess harm prevalence
- Collaborate with Policy Managers and Strategy teams to identify policy gaps and emerging trends
- Flag content for classifier refinement
- Produce weekly reports on operational workflows and trends
- Handle customer communications and appeals related to policy enforcement
- Provide surge review support and content labeling assistance as needed
- Triage and respond to cross-functional requests
- Action accounts that violate platform Terms of Service
- Ability to quickly learn and apply complex content policies
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting workloads
- Collaborative team-oriented mindset
- Interest in AI safety and responsible technology development
- Experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Safeguards, Risk Operations, or related fields
- Experience with policy enforcement on digital platforms
- Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI deployment
- Experience analyzing user behavior and identifying risks
- Degree or prior experience focused on CBRNE disciplines, particularly Chemical-related areas
